It was such an amazing and eye-opening experience to be invited to Mark's and Debashrita's two day fusion wedding extravaganza in London back in November 2011. Being invited to the whole day's exciting flow of events; from gorgeous Deb getting ready in her stunning red Asian wedding gown to the bride's side of the family not letting the groomsmen enter without any offerings, then to the vibrant colourful ceremony and emotional exchanging of vows. I don't think I've seen so much colour, excitement and happiness in one go, which is brilliant!

It was wonderful witnessing the entire wedding as a guest and taking snaps along the way too. Also as a family friend (Deb suggested the name 'Nisha' when I was born - so thank you!), it was a joyous occasion to be surrounded by friends and family.

I must admit, this has been one of the most unique and exciting weddings I have been to with a fusion of Indian Hindu and Nigerian Christian ceremonies back to back - it was both a celebration of Mark + Deb's love as well as a synthesis of cultures.

There's so many intricate pieces and jewellery on Debashrita's beautiful bridal lengha that a few bridesmaids helped her get ready!
