The New Forest is a wondrous place with sprawling heathlands, magical ancient woodlands and picturesque English villages that make it a special place. Getting married in such an idyllic location where there are endless opportunities for gorgeous photographs of the bride and groom is a no-brainer. It’s no wonder the New Forest takes centre stage in this elopement styled wedding shoot.
For each location in the New Forest, the bride wore a different wedding dress as each dress has its own character that compliments the scenery. All dresses are from the high-street (sourced from ASOS) with the groom's suit from Moss Bros and it goes to show how easy it can be to get a stunning wedding outfit especially for a low-key style wedding.
The style is classic but contemporary; a mixture of fun, flirty, romantic and sophisticated. It’s tricky choosing the one dress, so why not have more than one on your special day!
Thank you guys!

As it's Women's History Month and was International Woman's Day on Monday, it was only fitting to post this gorgeous shoot 'Independent Woman'. I was even listening to Destiny's Child whilst editing these pictures to get my sass on!
Love this throwback shoot from April 2014 for a Spring monochrome trend inspired shoot taken in Southampton Solent University studios on my photography degree. I worked with such a talented team, it was certainly a fun and creative shoot. Kristina Guaggenti provided her wonderful hair & make up artistry and helped style the shoot and Yaz Wall was a fabulous getting into character and showing her fierce fashion looks in these outfits. Doesn't she look amazing!?
One of my favourite trends is monochrome and every spring season there's usually some striking black and white outfit that I adore. I'm loving the monochrome pieces in Spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection by Calvin Klein, Salvatore Ferragamo, Michael Kors and Givenchy (and also Stella McCartney for their colours & pleats and Alexander McQueen for their feminine tailored English pieces).
The garments were sourced from high street shops from the likes of Asos, River Island, New Look, Zara, Miss Selfridge and H&M (pretty much all my fave shops!) with a helping hand from Kristina on Zara pieces. Kristina also hand crafted the embellished eyebrows (see below) which is amazing. Also this was Yaz's first fashion shoot in the studio and she totally rocked it. She's such a natural in front of the camera. I'll have to get some more wonderful portraits of her!
Thank you Kristina & Yaz :) This post goes to celebrating all those wonderful women out there and being confident in what they do. Also a power suit does wonders to get that fierce and 'independent woman' look.

Gorgeous photo of these two in a styled wedding shoot I did over the the summer in the beautiful New Forest, Hampshire of Jenny & Rob. The day couldn't have been more perfect with the lighting and weather. Highly recommend visiting the New Forest!
Funny story behind this shoot: got lots of congratulatory whistles & honks from cars passing by on a main road that cut through the open field... but didn't realise that the styled groom is actually my partner!
Jenny & Rob are great friends so it was a fun laugh to do this shoot with them. Thank you!
Lots more beautiful photos coming soon!
