Love this throwback shoot from April 2014 for a Spring monochrome trend inspired shoot taken in Southampton Solent University studios on my photography degree. I worked with such a talented team, it was certainly a fun and creative shoot. Kristina Guaggenti provided her wonderful hair & make up artistry and helped style the shoot and Yaz Wall was a fabulous getting into character and showing her fierce fashion looks in these outfits. Doesn't she look amazing!?

One of my favourite trends is monochrome and every spring season there's usually some striking black and white outfit that I adore. I'm loving the monochrome pieces in Spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection by Calvin Klein, Salvatore Ferragamo, Michael Kors and Givenchy (and also Stella McCartney for their colours & pleats and Alexander McQueen for their feminine tailored English pieces).

The garments were sourced from high street shops from the likes of Asos, River Island, New Look, Zara, Miss Selfridge and H&M (pretty much all my fave shops!) with a helping hand from Kristina on Zara pieces. Kristina also hand crafted the embellished eyebrows (see below) which is amazing. Also this was Yaz's first fashion shoot in the studio and she totally rocked it. She's such a natural in front of the camera. I'll have to get some more wonderful portraits of her!

Thank you Kristina & Yaz :) This post goes to celebrating all those wonderful women out there and being confident in what they do. Also a power suit does wonders to get that fierce and 'independent woman' look.

Had a wonderful time photographing the gorgeous Olive Haigh her upcoming new EP, Monsters due to come out this year. Certainly an experimental shoot where instead of myself clicking the button to photograph, in one hand I had a hair-dryer and the other I held a remote control for my camera to release the shutter: assistant and photographer all-in-one! Olive and I have been friends for a while so it's great collaborating with like-minded creative talents to make fun and fashionable pictures together. She's a darling to work with and I hope we continue our creative partnership to make more fabulous images! Did some portrait beauty test shoots with Holly Alana and what a wonderful young talent she is! Using all natural light from the window Holly looks gorgeous in pastel coloured clothes and flaunts her natural beauty. Love working with natural light using my favourite lens: 50mm f.1.4. Love working with this woman! We have been friends for a long time and always have a great time shooting fashion especially in the streets! This shoot was inspire by A/W 2012 fashion trend: Baroque/Decadence which featured opulent prints and textures. The gold 'baroque' dress was from Asos and the trousers, peplum top and shoe boots are from New Look. I used my corset which was bought in Camden market, London and Olive used her own belt and tights as well as doing her own hair & make up. Always fun shooting around Bristol, so many attractions and great locations to photograph.
