10 May 2015 - Hampshire Corporate Photography - Southampton Solent University Staff Portraits (Part 2)
After the success of the first Employability & Enterprise Professional photo shoot in January 2015, I had the pleasure of photographing more of the team in the studio. The E&E team loved the first shoot, that I kept the style very similar for this shoot as a continuity of the project. The aim of this shoot was to create a more professional outwards appearance, especially as the Employability and Enterprise team are representing and working with businesses, students, graduates and academics - this shoot was a great way to show off their professionalism and of course their (glamorous) sophisticated style! Many of these images are used as their LinkedIn profile, Facebook, Twitter and other social media profiles as well as internal email address thumbnail. Lovely team of people, it was a great experience to get back into the studio and photography these beautiful portraits. Also it was an interesting to experience so many different personalities back to back in the space of 2 hours! People's characteristics certainly shine through in front of the camera!
Lovely to meet Craig & Emma from Broken Physics Productions in Southampton. Shot these portraits for You Can Do It Too campaign by Employability & Enterprise at Southampton Solent University in Feb 2015. Craig & Emma set up their own video production company in 2014 and their business has been going from strength to strength. The campaign was celebrating Solent graduate's employability & enterprise achievements, giving a message to current students that they could do it as well.

Had the most enjoyable time with my beau, Rob over Easter. Now that he's in the Royal Navy I don't get to see him much. So it was bliss when he was down visiting me in Southampton over Easter. This is one of my favourite spots in Southampton, especially when the sun is setting. Taken on the 6 April 2015 in Palmerston Park. I've been wanting to get some really nice pictures of us as a couple, not just another selfie but a professional one! So it was nice having a day enjoying each other's company walking in the sun. For this set up I used my new Manfrotto BeFree Compact Lightweight Travel Tripod (really loving it - it's so light and small to carry around) and my remote control and voila! Mind you the portraits of me are wonderfully captured by Rob - his photo skills are getting rather impressive! That's 3+ years of dating a photographer!

Had a great time on this impromptu shoot photographing my former colleague, Lois. What a beautiful darling she is! Spring sun shining, only 20 minutes to shoot and what great fun and lovely pictures we made in that time! Photographed in Palmerston Park in Southampton, 10th April 2015. I've been wanting to photograph Lois for a while and on her penultimate day at work finally managed to do a shoot together. Hopefully get to work again in the near future. I enjoyed this spontaneous feel to this shoot so much that I'm going to photograph another stunning colleague of mine coming soon...
